First pic has rolled in!

In the campaign I am running, the one where the first person from any country who emails me gets a copy of my album ‘The Anger’ along with a hand-drawn cover, I am asking the receivers to sent me a picture of them holding the CD. The first picture has just rolled in. It’s from Christian in Sweden and it’s a damn fine one!

Here it is:

Let’s hope more pictures roll in!

Second cover shipment!

I finished the second cover yesterday (as the post below states) and today I did my cut and paste bit and the shipped them away! I did as before (and this all for the unique mailer give-away of my album ‘The Anger’ that I am running on this site):

1. Started with the painting:

2. Cut it into shape, so that it could become six covers:

3. Threw some bits away and fitted the rest inside cd-sleeves:

4. On the back of each cover there is a little note to the receiver. This one below seems to be the one going out to Thierry in Canada:

5. Since I could not afford printed CDs the discs themselves look a little crap. Still the covers are nice and each get a personal letter included in the package:

6. Here’s what a unpacked package looks like. This is the last package of the day:

7. And then all six of them were shipped away with the post:

The countries being shipped to this time was: Sweden, Norway, Finland, England, Saudi Arabia and Canada. That makes 12 countries in total. Check out the 1:st!-page for more details on that.

Arts and crafts!

Today I’ve been busy with getting the first batch of copies of ‘The Anger’, to be sent to the first person from any country to e-mail me, in order.
Here’s what I did:

1. As I wrote in an earlier post I had painted a painting that was going to be the, or six, cover(s). This is the painting:

2. After that I had to do a little bit a measuring and cutting to get the painting to become, and to fit into, six cd-sleeves:

3. When all cutting and stuff was done the six sleeves looked like this:

4. Every one of them signed and personalized, the one below is off to Vlad in Romania:

5. Then each of the CD’s were packed and shipped of tho their respective countries to be. The idea behind this is later, when I become famous in a Elvis kind of way, these records will be worth millions and millions again and collectors will travel all over the world trying to get a complete set… or something.

6. Naturally I forgot the camera when I went down to the post box to mail them but I assure you; I did. The countries shipped to today was Germany, U.S.A, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Romania and Denmark.

Auto-tune my 12h shift…

Probably the last person in the world to find these clips (they’ve been played on youtube.com a vast number of times). Nonetheless, there really funny. I really suggest you listen to the lyrics and just appreciate the sheer brilliance!

There are a few of these but I’ve done the labour of picking out the best ones:

Sorry I don’t have any more to say today but I got up at 0500h and have been working a 12h shift guarding… stuff, walking around in… places.
