Three things of importance, or something like that, happened today.
- When walking the dog I was stopped by some Jehovah’s Witnesses. They are always very talkative and I decided that I could stop and talk with them for a while. After about ten minutes they left me. They left me! They decided that the talk was over. I do not think it was my dazzling arguing-technique that drove them away. I think they gave up on me. To them I am a lost soul. To me, they are too…
- I had a thought about the chain of supply and demand. A thought which I will develop further on. It goes something like: Supply and demand is the general term (for the market) but what they really mean is demand and supply and they mean in in a circular fashion. However, the term is correct; it is supply and demand, not in a circular fashion, but in a linear fashion, very linear, and this is why the market does not work. If this sounds strange, that’s ok. It’s not meant to make all that much sense… yet. (And if you are wondering who they are; they who mean demand and supply, and all other, I am as clueless as you…)
- I got my first fan mail from Finland! And when I say fan mail, let me just add that I am very liberal in labeling something fan mail; someone writing me to say that something I have done is good, asking where my album can be bought, all fan mails. So, I just want to say hi to everyone in Finland!
