Home!
Back home from the course and ready to get cracking on my studies again. My body aches from yesterday when the the physical element of going to course reared it’s ugly head. And when I say course I mean repetition guard education or something like that. It’s a few days I have to do every four years in order to keep my guard-license which I need to work which I need to do in the summer, when one does not get student loans from the government, to get money.
Yes, that’s about it.
No it was not. Got the sales figures from Rob on ‘The Anger’ today. I’ll report them to you tomorrow or some thing (or maybe not).
Now I am going to bed.

In no particular order and all together. I have a dead line for a draft of my bachelors thesis on Friday. I really need to sit all day everyday until then to get good draft done. But I can’t. No. I have to go away for three days. With my job. To learn what I all ready know so that I can keep on doing what I am doing. Since I ‘m not working that much now a days it seem like such a waste. But like i said, I need to, or I will be taken off the job… and I really need that summer pay.
I’m taking my computer with me though. Mainly so I can study in the evenings but one or two words for you lot, my fans, my subordinates, will surely float your way. I might even be able to throw in a picture or two.
It’s not all bad though. My pal Andy G is also going. He moved out of town a couple of months ago and it’ll be nice to hook up with him for some hang time.
I really hope they have the Viasat channels in the Hotel. Really do not want to miss the Arsenal-Villareal game on Tuesday.

Good day to you all. This blogging thingy, or should I say my blogging, has really been on and off these past few days, maybe weeks. As you all know it’s because of my bachelors thesis, the one I’m writing. It’s coming along… well, not much more than that I am afraid. If I am to be finished before the deadline I’d better get my tempo up. The downside to it all, for you, my oh so avid readers and fans, is that there is not much to write about here on my blog. maybe I need to find something else to tell you all about. Like fantastic tunes, awesome news or just good breakfasts. Today I had Pancakes. Lovely.
I hope to have some music news for ou soon. Rob and I have been talking about what were going to do, recording and other stuff. Neither of us seem to have that much spare time.
I know what I am going to do. I am going to post a picture of the day. Or try to. I’m not making any promises.

First one; today. This picture is how my computer views me, everyday. I am sitting and writing with the occasional turn of head to the left to read something. Right now to my left I have a book: Jonathan Wolff An Introduction to Political Philosophy. The bad hair might indicate the return of Mats Jonsson. Think I’ll have to go and get my hair cut soon.

New Commercial?
It’s been up in the air for a while, and to be honest with you I do not know if it has landed yet, for every party, but for me it has, the new nelly.com commercial. Yes, they seem to be doing another one, a new one, but still using my song ‘Travel as I wait’. So expect to be hearing that on the TV in the near future.
This is good news. One can say what one want about selling ones song to advertising. It pays the bills for Rob and Myself and we are able to sit back and work on my second album without having to worry too much about money and with that I mean if the production is going to cost. Read into it what you like. Last album was recorded with zero money.
Blog 1 year!
Yes today folks this blog, my Internet outlet, turns one year.
It has been: 11,006 views, viewing 483 post and commenting on them 134 times. An ok round up I would say. I mean since I am nobody. Cant imagine what all those posts are about.
Here’s to another year!
(As a heads up I can say that I think the .eu link to this site will be shut down. I’ve decided to run on the .com one alone. So if you have the .eu one as a bookmark or on a RSS reader of sorts change it before all hell breaks loose, and by all hell braking loose I mean “or you won’t get your (almost) daily dose of the Don.)
Trying to write.
My bachelors thesis writing is taking up all of my time, either physical (or perhaps practical) and mental (or theoretical) or both. It’s going slowly. Really slowly. At times I almost brake down thinking that the limitations resides in my intellect rather than in some form of laziness or bad study technique or something.
Today I made the first small break through. I found the basis for my writings on one topic. Nice.
That’s all and that’s that.
The weekend starts tomorrow but there will be no rest for the wicked and boy am I wicked. I was supposed to have part of a discussion sent to my supervisor but that was not to be, not today. I hope I get started in writing tomorrow. I really need to in order to keep the time table.
April Truth Day!
April fools day. April fools day? What does that imply? Well, that it’s the month of April, that it is a day for fools and that it is a day. Or more to the point: That it’s April 1:st and on this day the fooling of other is in order.
Here’s my question: Isn’t everyday an April fools day of sort? Do we not tell jokes, fool people on a day to day basis? Ok, here some may want me to make a distinction between to joke, fool, and to lie. On the former the truth comes out… or at least sooner than later, and if we’re being honest, it sometimes does not come out at all. On the latter the truth does not come out… well… ok, if it does it’s more often later than sooner and sometimes not at all. So what is the difference? Time? I do not buy it. There will also be people compelled to argue for the different nature in a joke and a lie. The former being non-malicious the latter, more often than not, being mean, ill. I agree, that may be the case, most of the time. But I’m sure you all can think of a mean joke and a non-malicious lie.
What I am saying is that a joke and a lie are just two words for the same thing.
So, why April fools day? A day on which it’s ok to tell jokes/lies. Isn’t that the case every day? Is it not ok to tell jokes/lies everyday? Some might say no, yet do it, joke/lie, everyday.
April fools day is that’s it’s there for us to let loose from the shackles of the rest of the year. The being nice/truth telling humans caring for one another. When April 1:st comes along we can joke with/lie to our close ones in a manner not accepted the rest of the year.
Get a clue!
Let’s take an office worker for example. Whats the first thing he does when he gets to work? Turn on his computer? No! Lie! The first thing he does is lie!
-Hello Bob! How are you?
-I’m fine…
And Bob is also a liar, because he’s not fine. And this goes on:
-So how was your lunch?
-It was ok…
No it was not, it tasted bad. Bob did not like it. Yet he said that it did. (Perhaps the lunch thing is a Swedish phenomenon but you get my point; and so proved because I’m sure you can think of a hole host of other lies like Bobs here.)
So what am I proposing? Well, I am proposing April Truth Day. Lie all you want the rest of the year but please tell the truth today. Let the world see the sorry state that it is in and well take it from there. If we do not know it’s broke, we are not going to fix it and believe me, it’s broke! Just ask Bob…
