…the mega huge London post that you all are waiting for isn’t coming today. I’m what too tired after spending most of the day worrying about the Boo. I have managed to get the pictures in order and stuff. Tomorrow, I promise, tomorrow it will be up and mega and huge. There will also be kind of an announcement about my music… I think… might hang on to that one a couple of days, haven’t decided yet. Ok. That’s it. Happy happy! Joy joy!

Two totaly different things!
First off; to all you Bosse lovers out there. We got an appointment at the vet at 1030h today so don’t you worry, he’ll be just fine.
Secondly: It’s a hip-hip and hooray to my friend El Guapo today. Yes now is the time when he joins the rest of us on the wrong side of the border called youth. I stole a picture of him from his blog. I hope he does not mind. Happy birthday man!

Stuff stuck in snout?
Early morning get up! I got up around 0619h. The plan was to take The Boo out for a morning stroll then go to my lecture in Metaethics. That has now changed. I have to take The Boo to the vet. He seems to have something stuck in his throat/mouth/snout-area. Yesterday he threw up and all night he’s on and off been coughign and making death-metal noises. (I could get more graphic, but I won’t.) So study wise it’s just me and the book today, when I get home from the vet that is and I do hope the vet has time for The Boo and I, they open at 0800h. I’ll call then.
Don’t forget the big London report coming up later today! All right.
Back home…
So. We are back home. Tired as a tired couple of travelers can be. I’ll have a full report on the trip for you all in the morning, or tomorrow… at some point (I have a lecture at 0915h and before that I’m going out with the Boo).
The only thing of interest that has happened to me in Sweden whilst in London is me passing my exam in the history of practical philosophy! Woo-flippin’-Hoo!
Ok. Talk to you all tomorrow. I’ll leave you with the majestic of Arsenal in the cold Islington night:

London today, no blog tomorrow.
So in a couple of hours time Camilla and I will take of for London and tomorrow we will witness the classic derby between Arsenal and Tottenham! Can’t wait!
Not much else happening. Still haven’t heard anything about the TV/Internet/radio commercial so I’m guessing November 1:st is the date when they all start airing.
No blog tomorrow since I, as mentioned, will be in London and the hotel we are staying at, The Bayswater Inn doesn’t seem to have Wi-Fi. If I stumble upon a Internetcafe and have some spare time I’ll write you all a line but don’t count on it.
Go Arsenal!
Beyond the layer of fog.
When I was in town today I did a bit of celeberty spotting.
Anyone remember the Swedish rapper Blues? Well I saw him in Nordstan. He looked like he was waiting for someone. He had som really cool kicks on; The Sneakers’n'stuff contribution to the Adidas aZX consortium collaboration project, the letter S. That’s about it. I really just wanted to tell you about the shoes.
Tommy “The Voice” Half City
Good Monday to you all!
I’m a bit tired, or a bit just woken up. I fell a sleep after coming home from school. Not good. Now my head is all messed up. Had my first lecture in Metaethics today. It was fun. It seems hard. I just talked to Lars-Martin on the phone and explained it like; my head right now feels as if though I’ve been sitting and doing something which demands absolute concentration, for three hours. (Which is just what I did…)
Tomorrow sees Camilla and I fly off to London. I can’t say I’m not excited. (Strange way to say something, two negatives. Why not just say: I can say that I am excited or just I’m excited!)
Nothing happening music wise. Well not more than the fact that I’m trying to get a little band together to start rehearsing some new songs. It feels strange to talk about new songs since the old songs haven’t gotten old yet, there not even out there so in fact they might not even be new yet.
I have no drummer yet but I have a lead on one. I’ve gotten ok from a bass-man an organ-kid and a guitar-guy then there’s me The Voice… That’s my mob name: Tommy “The Voice” Half City…
Internet sucks on Sundays, Arsenal rule every day!
Sundays really suck Internet update-wise.
Just a point made.
So Arsenal won today, 2-0 away to West-Ham. They showed continued or perhaps gained momentum. Tottenham also won, this is normally not a good thing for a Arsenal fan, today it might be. Tottenham sacked there coach yesterday. Today they had their new on on the bench; Harry Redknapp. Here’s what I think of their win: The Harry Redknapp-effect. They won there first game of the season, under a new coach. Now the pressure to win is off and everyone won’t nag at the for loosing to Arsenal on Wednesday, when Camilla and I will be sitting in the crowd!
Happy birthday mom!
Good morning to you all from the crappy weather of Göteborg. Classic crap today; wet, windy, cold, wet, leafs flying everywhere, wet…
I’m still hammering away on the keys to make the first draft of my exam in the history of practical philosophy the second, and final, draft. Have hit some bumps: it’s never good when you yourself don’t understand what you have written. i’ll get it sorted. I have until Tuesday morning. Until Monday morning, that’s tomorrow, I have to have read the intro of this book: An Introduction to contemporary metaethics.
Arsenal play West-Ham today at 1700h cet. Let’s hope that goes well. Not many days left now before Camilla and I fly out to London to see Arsenal-Tottenham (who has lost there coach and gained a new one).
It’s my mothers birthday today so happy birthday to her. We’ll be going for a bit of a birthday dinner at her place in the afternoon.
That’s about it.
First draft done.
I’m not done with my exam on the history of practical philosophy but I am done with the first draft of it. I am reading it through as we speak. A lot of corrections to be done int the first question, that’s how far I’ve come in the read through, one question of five. I had to walk the dog. We just got in. I’m going to sit down with the second question now. I hope I’ll be done with all five tonight. I also hope I will have had time to finish the second draft, the final draft because tomorrow I will have to start reading for new course beginging on Monday: Metaethics. Don’t want to fall behind the first thing I do…
Autonomy of will…
Hi!
My name is Immanuel Kant and right now I’m doing Tomas head in because of my solution to the problem of the autonomy of will which isn’t really a solution at all. I just seem to end up where i start all the time. Haha.

Laundry, dog walk, studys.
Ok. It’s early. It’s now 0807h. I was up at 0740h. Laundry cabin time at 0800h. Have all ready been down to the LK and stuffed two washing machines full of colour happy (Swedish direct translation). I am now going to try and drag out the Boo in what seems to be another stereotypical Göteborg autumn/fall day: wind; almost storm, rain; from everywhere (even from under) and clouds beginning just where the ground leaves off. After that it’s Immanuel Kant and the problem of the free will (if I solv it I’ll let you know…. haha) .
Talk to you later!
November 1:st at the latest…
Today at 1415h I spoke to Jarno, my contact over at Nelly.com. I asked him when the commercials, both radio and TV/Internet were going to start airing. (The commercials being the once for Nelly.com which feature my song “Travel as I wait”.) He said that they would start airing, at the latest, on November 1:st. So now all you have to do is sit tight and watch both this and that space (that is if you want to hear me being a soundtrack for consumerism, otherwise I guess you can close your eyes). If there is going to be music in commercials it might as well be good music, my music.
The inner harbour.
Sunset over the inner harbour of Göterborg as seen from the inside of a tram railing over the Göta Älv bridge from mainland to island. (I’m bored.)

Burial leads to headphone burial?
Still Burial in my headphones and I suspect they they/he will be for a while (speaking of that I rally need new headphones, my Beyerdynamic DT 770 have really done their job for me for eight years but now there starting to sound a bit dodgy, especially in the lower frequencies, of which there are plenty of in Burials music).
Today wont look that different from the last couple of days. Have to hand in my exam in the history of practical philosophy on Monday so: no rest, just write.
Haven’t posted a nice picture in a couple of posts. I’ll do that later today. Something classy!
Bandanna!
OMG that’s soooo 2007!
Ok. I know I’m probably the last man on earth to learn about this (no I know I’m not the last man but it’s an expression, get up with the lingo grandpa) but I just bought the Burial 2007 album Untrue of iTunes… It’s so good! You all should really have a listen!
There’s a pretty strange thing about Burial. When I was in London for the first time, in 1997, I bought a magazine called Muzic. It was a magazine covering electronic and dance music. When you bought the magazine you got a free tape (yes tape! I’ll probably have it around here somewhere…) and on that tape there was a track very reminiscent of what I have in my head-phones right now. I’m not saying that the Burial CD sounds dated, quite the opposite, I’m saying that it sounds, to me very London, generally very English. And that’s a good thing.
First Jonathan Johansson then this. Either I’m opening up to music in a way that I haven’t done in a while or I’ve just struck a patch of musical finding luck.
Swedish word: Arbetarmacka.
I bid a good Wednesday to you all!
Nothing much up. Everything is kind of at a stand still. Camilla and I are going to London in less then a week so we are waiting for that. My mother has a birthday party on Sunday so we’re waiting for that. My nice and her boyfriend are coming over Friday night so we’re waiting for that. And oh, I almost forgot, I have that exam due next Wednesday… ok.
Yepp! Still working on the Aristotle/Kant exam. Just finished question two and am åreparing, with a cup of coffee and some high class Italian chocolate, probably one of the best chocolates I’ve ever had, which I got for my birthday. I also just had lunch and for lunch I had what we here in Göteborg call a real Arbetarmacka (änna!), a working mans sandwich. It was big. Half of it is in the fridge now. I’m going to snack on that later. Mmmm Arbetarmacka…
You know the drill by now. If I have anything worth sharing, or just need a brake from studying, I’ll talk, or write, to you again.
Radio in between, done!
Just a quick one.
The radio deal for the Nelly.com commercial is now officially done. Got an e-mail tonight saying ok. I’m being sent the signed agreement tomorrow. Haven’t been able to post because of the fact that Arsenal have scored three and conceded one.
Record number two: Here we come!
A so-so day (so far).
Ok. So today has so far been a so-so day (I say so far because in one and a half hours time Arsenal will play an away game against Fenerbahce in UEFA Champions League). What has put a damper on most of the day was the fact that I got my exam in the philosophy of politics back. I passed but that was that. Let me explain: when I get an exam back I have the possibility of getting one of three grades: U – failed, G – Passed and VG – Passed with excellence. I got a G which is not bad but I really thought that I did well enough to get a VG, I thought I really got the material. This worries me because as you know I am now writing an exam in the history of practical philosophy and I don’t feel on top of that subject at all.
I would be even more down if it weren’t for the joy of coming home to the Boo. He’s happy no matter what. I truly love the little bear. He’s really not big on cuddling but sometimes I just cant help myself.

Infinite amount of potential listeners.
Ok. It’s 1200h and I’m done tidying up lecture notes, for now. Nothing much has happened since I last posted. Don’t you just love these types of posts; where nothing has happened and I have nothing to write about but write anyway?
Ok, not nothing has happened. In a brake in tidying lecture notes I wrote e-mails to two journalists and told them about my, or my music, being apart of a huge, mega-trega, gignormous ad-campaign. Why did I do that? Well because I have no idea as to how to get my music out there, to the masses, the infinite masses (if you believe that there is life in outer space and that that life somehow listened to earth music, like mine) and journalists have a bigger mass for there output then I have (all though I doubt that any journalist has infinite output, or output to an infinite amount of potential listeners… maybe Janne Josefsson, the Swedish shot-iron journalist… but only him).
Ok. Off to school!
