Last report from this weekend.

On Sunday we, Camilla, her parents and I, went to the local amusement park; Liseberg. We didn’t win anything, well a little bag of candy, at the prize wheels. Camillas farther Lennart and I got to hold bags and sit on park benches while Camilla and here mother got to go on rides and stuff. It was ok. I’m not a big fan of rides, neither is Lennart.

The picture shows Camilla and her mother riding The Fear of Heights (Höjdsckräcken änna).

Zoological nature walk in pictures.

I have been on a zoological expedition.
I brought a crew of three and a dog.

The first thing I had to do was go to the men’s room:

Then we took a walk from the mens room to the North Pole where we saw some penguins:

The dog, Mr Boo, was more than interested in all the animals that we saw. He barked at some of them. A frustrating bark as I think he wanted to play with them. In doing so however he frightened two children which both burst out into tears. Way to go Boo!

The Boo was especially fond of the Elks. Here’s one depicted eating:

I have no idea what this next animal is called:

All of this of course took place at Slottsskogen (The forest with Castles) where you find no castles what so ever. However you can find really strange trees:

A calendar month of training (almost).

Today is September 1:st. I started my training thing on August 3:rd. Though I haven’t been at in for a whole month yet, a whole month being 30 or 31 days (and yes I am aware of the fact that a month can be 28 and 29 days as well), I figure it’s time for a short recap before moving on.

So how has the first month been? Well good. Maybe a bit too much training, not too much for my taste, for were it up to my taste then all and any kind of training would be too much, but for my body. The last ten days or so I’ve been feeling very tired. I will try do do something with that. Design a training schedule which I can cope with.

September is going to be a tough ass month. No candy, no junk food, more training (or better training) and less food.

I am supposed to get my fat ass up on the scales on September 3:rd to see what kind of progress I’ve made in a month but I am going to postpone that event for a couple of days. As you might know (if you frequent this blog) Camillas parents have been in town. That means out of routine activities. That means bad eating, too much eating and too little training.

I’ll push myself for a couple of days then we’ll see.
Leaving you with a picture of my training schedule for August. The black X:es are rest days. You might, upon first look, think that it’s a lame schedule, that you could do it any day. Ok then. If you have trouble reading my notes on the calendar send me an e-mail and I’ll mail the thing to you, then I’ll give you a month to do it all, after that you can complain all you like, monkey boy.

Ta ta.

It’s all coming together.

Today I got some help.
Help with what?
Help with getting the booklet for The Anger – Promotion copies done and as we speak AG is getting the layout for the print on the records done. Then all I have to do is order the records and send the promos on out!

I really hope I can have something for you all to listen to soon, I mean, I have something for you all to listen to I just need to be able to present it to you. I want to do it right this time around. Not leave anything to chance. Leaving things to chance is a risk and one shouldn’t take risks, at least not taking them and then hoping for a chance.

TMA!

The circumnavigation of zero islands.

Both Camillas parents and my mom has helped us a lot with the Boo. Dog sitting for him while Camilla and I do other things such as travel or go out…

We thought it was high time (a Swedes choice of words) to “pay them back”. So we booked a crustacean cruise. What’s that I hear you ask. Well it’s a cruise where you sit and eat crustacean’s; cray fish, clams, crab and shrimp and it’s all in buffé form so you can eat as much as you like (and eat we did).

We boarded the M/S Poseidon at 1900h on Saturday evening. The boat took a ride down to the southern archipelago of Göteborg and rode around there for a while. To my disappointment: no islands were circumnavigated but there was a lot to see.

All in all it was a successful affair.
