Row, row, row your boat…

I have, since I started this working out, good, healthy, life, wondered about upper body work outs. I have walked, run, mountain biked, all using, for the most part, my legs.

Yesterday all that changed.

Camilla, The Boo and I decided to to a last gasp vacation move and took the bus out to my sister Tullan who lives on the Island of the Orust. When we arrived I went rowing with Tullans man Benny. Yes you heard me: rowing! And not the sitting in a small boat fishing kind. No. This was a big wooden boat with room for 10 rowers (the information behind the link is in Swedish but just look at the pictures if you don’t understand the language, it was, if that is not understood, with these guys, and that boat, that I went out rowing), all though we were just seven, and one guy in the front shouting out commandos and steering with the rudder. It was fun and it got me a upper body work out. We were out on the ocean for about an hour.

Talk about changing things up work out wise: walking, running, bike riding rowing… what will I do next?
