I’m ok with my decay (not!).

In a previous post I mention how this blog has gotten me in touch with old friends in particular I mentioned Johan Segertoft and how we hadn’t spoken in years and that he found me though this blog. I also said that he would pop around for coffee. He now has!

Johan was here today for a coffee and a talk. Fun!

We took a picture, with me trying to copy the one of us from six years ago.
Not speaking for Johan (I’ll let him do his own talking) you have to be ok with your, or in this case, my, decay (nooooo!).

I give you the before and after shot, six years apart:

Done, stopping, starting and vacuum cleaning.

WooHoo! I’ve handed in my aesthetics exam (or what was left of it for me to do)! I didn’t have to do it, hand it in, it won’t be read through and graded until August and I don’t have to have a registered grade for it until September 1:st but it’s a weight of my shoulders (it’s also a time buyer if it turns out that I’ve answered any question incorrectly and have to do it over).

This, the hand in, also gives me a chance to focus my reading energy on other books and stuff. I’ve, for time being anyway, given up on Sartre’s Nausea. I got some 20 or 30 pages into it and then I had to stop to start the exam. I can’t really, like some can, read several books, or even two, at the same time. It kind of blurs things for me. It now seems a bit dull, tedious, to start over (which I have to do because to much time has passed for me to get a coherent experience) so I’m going to start fresh with one of the books I picked up at Strand in New York (I don’t know which though).

Now; It’s vacuum cleaning time! Kick Ass!

Hot, hot, long-jump-hot!

I’m just in from my morning walk with the Boo (this morning we were joined by the Boos pall Xenso, a black German Shepard) and let me tell you today is going to be a hot one! It’s 1038h now and the heat has already risen beyond comfort level (which for me is rather low but I expect even the most heat thirsting of people to feel a little discomfort today).

I hope it will cool of a bit later (although there is no sign of it) since Camilla and I are going to se Kent and Thåström at Slottskogsvallen tonight (all links in Swedish).

Depicted is Gigantic Rock main street. If you look closely you can, in the house a far, see the bakery, the hairdresser and the candy shop (The Candy Troll), you can also see how hot it is… really hot… really… I mean Gigantic Rock champion in long jump and shot put hot… and that’s hot… really hot.
